Etsy superstar Dingo (creator of Besty Search) posted a fabulous tip for finding orders by transaction ID and order number in this thread:

While logged in, paste this URL into your browser address box:

http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=XXXXXXX

replacing the Xs with the transaction ID. It will bring up the transaction page for the item, which has a link to the receipt at the top (under the “You Sold This…” message)

You can do the same trick if you just have the order ID#

http://www.etsy.com/receipt.php?order_id=XXXXXXX

Takes you to the receipt page.
