Saving an Etsy Listing to Post Later

Posted: Lis on Jul 04 | Etsy Buzz

Here’s a fantastic tip posted by Littleputbooks (who makes super cute jewelry) in the Etsy forums. Using her special trick, you can create a bunch of listings at once and save them to post later:

  1. Create a new listing and complete all of the information up until you get to the page with the finish button.
  2. Copy the url from your browser address bar and paste it into a new document (she suggests sending it to yourself in an email so that later you can easily click on the link - pasting it into Microsoft Word will have the same effect).
  3. Don’t click the finish button. Just close the window, or click on the left sidebar link to add a new item.
  4. When you’re ready to post your saved listings. Just click on the link that you saved and click the finish button.

The best part about Littleputbooks’ discovery is, when you finally post your item, it will still scroll across the front page and show up on the first page of the category. Thanks Littleputbooks!

Thanks for the tip! I’ve often thought it would be handy to be able to do this.
